Powered by 6 x 12 volt 50 Ah sealed lead acid cyclic batteries (Yucel by Yuasa) Batteries available from www.countybattery.co.uk

Range on those batteries is around 50 laps of the average kart track. Acceleration to 50 in under 5 seconds! (depending on final drive ratio, see "gear ratio calculator" in our download section).

Sprockets are available from www.eriks.co.uk and they will machine them to size for you for a small extra fee.

Build one for around £1500. (based on an old kart thats passed its sell by date) look for one on www.ebay.co.uk

So Visit www.electricmotorsport.com and buy an Etek motor and controller set and then convert an old kart. All you need to do is mount the motor and make the battery trays, then join in with this new form of motor sport.
