Savings can be made over the standard prices if your on a tight budget. Choose to fit used seats, modify the donor exhaust or source a lower cost lighting set. You may buy only the items you need from a breakers yard rather than a complete car, or you may opt for a category D donor with a V5. Your budget should be around £6000-£7000.
Don't forget to sell your surplus parts on Ebay. You will be pleasantly surprised at the prices achieved for parts from this modern & common car. An air bag set alone costs £700 new (but don't touch it until the battery has been off for at least half an hour though!)
